Its 425 kilometres of pistes are served by an impressive network of lifts, including the famous Vanoise Express cable car that links the two huge resorts of les Arcs and la Plagne for skiing that goes from 1250 to 3250 m in altitude. Several reservoirs, including one that has recently been built in les Arcs that holds 400 000 m3 of water for making artificial snow, ensure optimum snow conditions throughout the winter season.
